RESPONSIBILITIES * Supervise the company's fleet, ensuring vehicle availability and operational control. * Plan, analyze, and define the most efficient transportation routes, optimizing resource utilization, reducing operational costs, and increasing productivity. * Conduct **freight acquisition and negotiation with partners and carriers**. * Monitor costs (fuel, maintenance, tires, damages) and departmental KPIs. * Supervise drivers, scheduling, and safe driving practices. * Utilize tracking/telematics systems and respond to operational deviations. * Control fuel refueling and consumption. * Prepare managerial reports and support strategic decision-making. * Perform other related tasks as required or at the discretion of your supervisor. Required Competencies: * Completed undergraduate degree (preferably in Business Administration, Logistics, or related fields); * Minimum 1 year of experience as Fleet or Logistics Coordinator/Supervisor in logistics companies; * Knowledge of logistics management systems; * Prior experience with fleet, logistics, or transportation; * Basic vehicle maintenance knowledge; * Experience with telematics/tracking systems (a plus); * Strong communication, organizational, and analytical skills; * Familiarity with work hour control, scheduling, and driver registration; * Attention to detail and organizational skills; * Clear and empathetic communication; * Proactivity and sense of urgency; * Proficiency in spreadsheets and administrative information organization.
