Driver - Morning Shift

Description

Job Summary: The professional will be responsible for driving vehicles and operating equipment in solid waste collection, as well as transporting employees and ensuring vehicle maintenance and safety. Key Highlights: 1. Operation of vehicles and equipment in solid waste collection 2. Transportation of teams and assurance of operational safety 3. Attention to maintenance and reporting of irregularities **Working Hours: 6:00 AM to 2:20 PM** * Drive vehicles and operate equipment to carry out common solid waste, recyclable waste, special waste, healthcare service solid waste, and general service waste collection activities, following the established route; * Drive the vehicle (bus) to transport employees of mechanical weeding teams; * Request assistance from collectors when performing reverse maneuvers, ensuring the collector is off the step and within the driver's field of vision; * Conduct a vehicle inspection before starting work, complete the checklist, and report any identified irregularity to the immediate supervisor; * Complete the daily log sheet, recording data for production control; * Report to the immediate supervisor information regarding the behavior, productivity, and performance of the collection team, or any incident, so that necessary measures may be taken; * Ensure proper operation of the vehicle and equipment, taking preventive measures according to manuals and regulations; * Report any irregularities in services or collection points to the supervisor; * Maintain the vehicle, cleaning the cabin and informing the supervisor of the need for corrective or preventive maintenance, as well as tire replacement or rotation; * Take the vehicle to authorized dealerships or workshops for maintenance; * Guide the team to comply with safety regulations applicable to their work area; * Report workplace or traffic accidents to the supervisor and follow received instructions.
