Driver - Afternoon Shift

Job Summary: The professional will drive vehicles and operate equipment for waste collection, transport employees, and ensure vehicle and team maintenance and safety. Key Highlights: 1. Operate equipment for collecting various types of waste 2. Perform vehicle inspection and preventive maintenance 3. Ensure team safety and report irregularities **Working Hours: 2:20 PM to 10:35 PM** * Drive the vehicle and operate equipment to perform collection services for common solid waste, recyclable waste, special waste, healthcare service solid waste, and general service waste, following the established route; * Drive the bus to transport employees from mechanical mowing teams; * Request assistance from collectors when performing reverse maneuvers, ensuring the collector is off the step and within the driver's field of vision; * Conduct a pre-shift vehicle inspection, complete the checklist, and immediately inform the supervisor of any irregularities identified; * Complete the daily log sheet, recording data for production control; * Report to the immediate supervisor information regarding the behavior, productivity, and performance of the collection team or any incidents, so that necessary actions may be taken; * Maintain proper operation of the vehicle and equipment, applying preventive measures according to manuals and regulations; * Report any service or collection point irregularities to the supervisor; * Maintain the vehicle in good condition by cleaning the cab and notifying the supervisor of the need for corrective or preventive maintenance, as well as tire replacement or rotation; * Take the vehicle to authorized dealerships or workshops for maintenance; * Guide the team to comply with safety regulations applicable to their work area; * Report workplace or traffic accidents to the supervisor and follow received instructions.
