Managed by a multi-family administration, the group operates 22 Rede TOP stores and 5 Preceiro Atacadista stores, totaling approximately 2\.000 employees, 300 checkouts, and 35\.000 m² of sales area. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES Responsible for cash register operations and customer service, adhering to protocols, rules, regulations, and pre-established standards; scanning merchandise and processing payments; performing cash withdrawals from the register; closing the register; and providing an end-of-shift financial report. ACTIVITIES TO BE PERFORMED Ensure excellence in customer service at the cash register by following protocols, rules, regulations, and pre-established standards; scanning/weighing products; consulting code tables; checking product labels, scale weight, and system correspondence; processing payments; verifying prior authorization for checks and making appropriate notations on the back; and verifying authenticity of cash; Ensure cash withdrawals from the register during the shift and its closure, including counting cash, reconciling totals, signing reports, and submitting them to the Supervisor and/or depositing funds into a safe or 24-hour cash box to prevent accumulation of exposed cash and ensure accurate financial reporting; Contribute to achieving targets for ongoing campaigns by promoting available products and services, identifying missing items, and reporting such omissions to the Supervisor for resolution; Help reduce front-end losses by proactively minimizing bag waste, potential theft, and ensuring prompt returns of perishable goods, etc.; Maintain the workplace and equipment in perfect working and clean condition, and request bags, receipt rolls, and other supplies as needed; Assist in sorting merchandise for home delivery when required, ensuring optimal packaging; Support related tasks as needed, such as shelf and checkout stand restocking, pricing and expiry date verification of merchandise, gift packaging, etc.; Requirements **Academic qualification:** Completed elementary education **Additional information:** 100% on-site position **Work location:** Rua Guararema, 270\.
