Job Description – Corporate Lawyer
Job Objective
Represent the company legally, providing advisory and consulting services in Civil, Administrative, and Labor law areas, ensuring legal security for operations, mitigating legal risks, and promoting preventive actions that guarantee compliance with current legislation and the organization’s strategic interests.
Main Responsibilities
Represent the company in judicial and administrative proceedings within Civil, Labor, and Administrative jurisdictions.
Draft, review, and analyze contracts, notices, legal opinions, agreements, terms, and other legal documents.
Develop and implement legal strategies to defend the company’s interests, monitoring proceedings and procedural deadlines.
Act preventively by identifying legal risks and proposing solutions to reduce liabilities and avoid litigation.
Provide legal consulting to various departments of the company, advising managers and employees on legal matters.
Prepare technical legal opinions and issue legal advice to support decision-making.
Attend hearings, expert examinations, investigative actions, and judicial and extrajudicial negotiations.
Manage third-party law firms, where applicable, monitoring performance, strategies, and outcomes.
Participate in judicial and extrajudicial settlement negotiations, seeking efficient and economically viable solutions.
Monitor legislative and jurisprudential changes that may impact company activities, proposing necessary adjustments.
Develop and implement internal policies, procedures, and legal compliance programs.
Prevent labor disputes by advising leadership on labor legislation, employment relations, and sound management practices.
Support administrative departments in regulatory processes, public tenders, administrative contracts, and other matters related to administrative law.
Prepare managerial reports on proceedings, contingencies, legal indicators, and legal risks.
Participate in the company’s strategic projects, providing legal support for new operations, businesses, and investments.
Conduct internal training sessions on relevant legal topics, disseminating knowledge and reinforcing a culture of compliance.
Preventive Role
The professional will play a strategic role in legal risk prevention, responsible for:
Reviewing internal procedures from a legal perspective.
Identifying legal vulnerabilities in company processes.
Advising managers on decisions with legal certainty.
Creating standardized contract and document templates.
Preventing labor and civil litigation.
Supporting the implementation of sound governance and compliance practices.
Implementing initiatives to reduce legal contingencies and liabilities.
Technical Competencies
Solid knowledge of Civil, Labor, and Administrative Law.
Experience in litigation and advisory practice.
Proficiency in drafting contracts and legal opinions.
Knowledge of corporate and procedural legislation.
Strong negotiation and conflict mediation skills.
Proficiency in legal case management tools and Microsoft Office suite.

Active registration with the Brazilian Bar Association (OAB).
