An engineering and construction management company is seeking a Cost Engineer in Osasco. **Responsibilities:** Prepare budgets for civil construction and building installations. Perform quantity takeoffs from project drawings, descriptive memoranda, and technical scopes. Analyze civil, electrical, hydraulic, mechanical, HVAC, fire prevention and suppression, and other complementary engineering disciplines. Develop direct and indirect cost compositions, including BDI (Budgetary Design Index), social charges, and labor laws. Conduct quotations with suppliers and contractors, negotiating delivery timelines and commercial terms. Balance technical and commercial proposals. Support risk analysis, assumptions, exclusions, and commercial conditions of budgets. Prepare budget spreadsheets, technical and commercial proposals. Maintain an updated price database aligned with market practices and values. Previous experience as a Cost Engineer, Budget Analyst, Budget Planning Specialist, or Project Engineer may indicate alignment with some of the responsibilities of this position. Bachelor’s degree required.
