Job Summary: We are seeking a Senior Mainframe Software Architect to evaluate and define system architecture, perform technical analysis, and drive modernization of critical and complex systems. Integration among legacy, distributed systems, and APIs **Senior Mainframe Software Architect** **Location:** **Bela Vista – SP** **Hybrid work model** (3 days per week at the office) **Contract type:** PJ (Individual Entrepreneur) **Estimated workload:** 168 hours/month **Minimum allocation:** 3 months / On-demand We are looking for a **Senior Software Architect**, with strong expertise in **Mainframe**, to support architectural decisions, technical analyses, and modernization initiatives in critical, highly complex environments. **Responsibilities** * Evaluate and define **Mainframe** system architecture * Conduct technical impact analysis and support architectural decision-making * Participate in **modernization and decoupling** initiatives * Integrate legacy, distributed systems, and **APIs** * Develop **AS\-IS / TO\-BE** documentation * Serve as a **Solutions Architect** in distributed environments (.NET / C\#) **Technical Requirements** * Solid experience with **Mainframe** * Advanced knowledge of **COBOL, CICS, DB2, JCL, and IMS** * Experience integrating with distributed systems * Proven experience in solution architecture and system modernization * Knowledge of **.NET / C\#** **Expected Profile** * Architectural and systemic vision * Strong analytical capability and technical decision-making skills * Experience in large-scale corporate environments Minimum Education: Bachelor's Degree
