Join our purpose! **Responsibilities and Duties** **Your daily routine will include:** * Participate daily in the “shift handover” at the beginning and end of your shift, receiving / reporting and evaluating updates—including patient progress and significant events—as well as operational occurrences and instructions that may affect the functioning of the CR during the upcoming work period; * Visit all patients at the start of your shift, following the “shift handover,” under the care of your team, to observe their progress and conditions of care, inspect facilities, and obtain / provide necessary or requested information; * Assess daily the availability of medications prescribed for each patient, as well as supplies, instruments, and clothing items, arranging replenishments as needed; * Supervise requests for medications and materials intended for patient use, ensuring prescriptions issued by physicians match exactly what is being requested; * Receive and deliver initial nursing care to newly admitted patients during your shift, providing necessary guidance and clarifications; * Develop medication administration schedules and individualized nursing care plans for each patient, based on their specific needs and medical instructions, monitoring their effectiveness; * Guide and supervise the nursing technician team regarding proper scheduling and application of nursing procedures for patients, as well as support physicians working within your area of responsibility; * Deliver nursing care to patients—or assist physicians treating them—in both diagnostic procedures and recovery treatments; * Perform specialized technical nursing procedures, such as administering prescribed medications and performing invasive procedures—including urinary catheterization, gastric intubation, and venous puncture; * Monitor each patient’s progress and any complications, ensuring appropriate entries are made in medical records and recommended nursing interventions are carried out; * Notify the on-duty physician whenever necessary; * Provide information and/or guidance to patients and their families regarding departmental rules and routines; * Perform dressings (e.g., catheters, surgical wounds, pressure ulcers, etc.). **Requirements and Qualifications** **What do you need?** * Bachelor’s degree in Nursing; * Active COREN registration; * Specialization in healthcare; * Hospital experience; * Availability to work on a rotating 12x36-hour schedule. **Additional Information** **Our Benefits** * Health and dental insurance; * Transportation allowance; * Employee benefits club; * Employee health club.
