Field Researcher

As a field researcher, you are responsible for: Collecting product prices; applying market research instruments; registering information; and participating in the planning of field activities. Responsibilities and duties: Visiting retail stores indicated by your supervisor in person; Locating products on store shelves; Collecting prices and promotions; Entering collected data via the mobile application. Your routine will always follow the predetermined store route, researching the product list available in the application. Requirements and qualifications: Ability to work within deadlines, approachability, and adaptability when presenting yourself at research locations. We offer remuneration of R$75.00 per day for conducting research, with routes scheduled from Monday to Thursday. This amount covers 6 hours of daily work, allowing flexibility to combine with other activities. Our hiring arrangement is under the MEI (Individual Microentrepreneur) regime. Description: * Doctorate in Collective Health, Communication, Social Sciences, Anthropology, or related fields. * Familiarity with and interest in topics such as social and environmental determinants of health, health data science, social inequalities, and social policies. * Advanced English proficiency. * Knowledge of theoretical foundations of public engagement with science/social participation, with emphasis on: * Public communication and engagement as dimensions of open science. * Models of science–society interaction (dissemination, dialogue, co-production, deliberation). * Latin American approaches to science communication. * Theories on public perception of science and trust in scientific institutions. DESIRABLE QUALIFICATIONS: * Interdisciplinary experience bridging Health Sciences and Humanities and Social Sciences, with emphasis on public science communication, social participation, or qualitative research in health contexts; * Demonstrated experience and competence in research projects; * Experience with public engagement in health/social participation projects; * Availability to start immediately. * Intermediate or advanced Spanish proficiency. * Absence of these qualifications does not disqualify your application but will serve as a tie-breaking criterion. Facilitate dialogue on public engagement with science/social participation among the various groups involved in the SEDHI project. Participate in and lead project monitoring meetings. Attend scientific events. Produce a theoretical review of the conceptual framework on engagement in health within the Latin American context. Apply a methodological model for assessing the impact of engagement in the SEDHI project. Collect, organize, and interpret qualitative research data gathered from researchers and participants.
