




Description: * Bachelor's degree completed; * Engineering or Technology background in Production/Chemical/Food-related fields, or similar; * Solid experience managing operator teams; * Experience supervising ETE (Wastewater Treatment Plant), ETA (Water Treatment Plant), and Utilities operations; * Experience in food or pharmaceutical manufacturing environments is desirable; * Experience in certification audits (SIF, FSC, ISO, and customer audits) is desirable; * Languages: Advanced English. Scope of Activities: * Ensure compliance with the site’s safety policy together with the entire operations team; * Guarantee supply of potable water, industrial water, steam, compressed air, and chilled water systems across the entire production site through operational guidance and training of the team, shift report monitoring, and proposing solutions for non-conformities; supervise all ETE and ETA operations to ensure compliance with current legislation and achievement of all operational indicators; * Manage costs and performance indicators to ensure achievement of Utilities department objectives and compliance with environmental and safety standards; * Supervise laboratory analyses performed by the team, as well as analyses conducted by external professionals, identifying non-conformities and recommending corrective actions; * Manage and optimize resource usage (water, electricity, steam, and chemical products) in ETA, ETE, and Utilities operations; * Ensure development of departmental procedures through analysis of equipment histories and manuals, summarizing key information and data, and publishing procedures in the established format to facilitate process understanding; ensure clear and objective communication with internal and external support areas when necessary, as well as with superiors; * Lead, together with the Production Manager, continuous improvement plans (PDCA) related to safety, compliance, quality, production, and costs; * Daily monitoring of the entire production process with reporting to the Production Manager; * Develop a training program for department employees, identifying needs and jointly planning execution with the HR department; * Ensure operational team management, including vacation planning, application of disciplinary sanctions, climate management, etc.; * Define responsibilities of direct reports to achieve objectives; set priorities for the Maintenance team to execute services; * Conduct regular performance evaluations per organizational policy; assess environmental aspects and associated processes and establish operational controls; * Participate in various site audits and promote development of action plans; * Develop and promote operational team participation in Root Cause Analyses (RCAs); * Will operate two Biocal boilers on a full-time basis: one biomass-fired boiler with a capacity of 14 tons of steam per hour and one oil-fired Aalborg boiler with a capacity of 8 tons of steam per hour. 2512210202551931728
