**BUILDING TECHNICIAN \- RPO** **Job Description:** Assist in the planning, supervision, and monitoring of civil construction projects, ensuring compliance with designs and technical standards. Support the execution of simple construction, maintenance, and repair projects for buildings and sanitation systems. Interpret projects, blueprints, sketches, and technical specifications. Assist in topographic and contour surveys, learning techniques to support project development and property, block, and network registration. Monitor schedules, measurements, and the use of materials, equipment, and labor on construction sites. Monitor and document the execution of outsourced and internal services. Prepare basic descriptive reports under guidance from more experienced professionals. Conduct technical inspections, field audits, and on-site assessments. Issue technical reports and photographic records of activities. Support the preparation of budgets, descriptive memorandums, and other technical documents. Ensure compliance with occupational health and safety and environmental regulations. Drive vehicles and operate machinery and equipment as needed and with prior instruction. Use technical tools and software to support **Requirements:** High school level technical education in building construction. Registration with the professional council.
