Location: Rio Piracicaba, Minas Gerais, Brazil Working Hours: Day shift, from 07:00 to 19:00 Contract Type: Indefinite-term contract Application Period: December 19, 2025 to December 30, 2025 **Required Qualifications:** * Mechanical, Industrial, Structural, Electrical, or Electronic Engineering, or related fields. * Solid experience in People Management. * Knowledge of SAP system. **Desired Qualifications:** * Proven experience in Maintenance Management; * Knowledge of maintenance processes for large-scale mining equipment. * Solid knowledge of Maintenance Processes and SAP. **Job Responsibilities and Activities:** * Ensure maintenance of equipment such as tractors, motor graders, large excavators and loaders, off-road trucks, drill rigs, among others; * Ensure team adherence to the Maintenance Management System (MMS) through guidance and monitoring; * Analyze and develop, together with the team, action plans to correct deviations in maintenance processes; * Ensure quality of contracted services by supervising compliance with contractual items within operational areas; * Interface with Mine Planning and Operations, PCM (Maintenance Planning and Control), Procurement, Inventory Management, Occupational Safety, Environment, Human Resources, and Mine Operations; * Provide technical development to the team through continuous training, guidance, and follow-up, as well as identify and develop potential successors; * Monitor and analyze management indicators such as: backlog, mean time between failures (MTBF), planning factor, and schedule compliance factor, among others; * Develop and monitor budget execution for the assigned area to support management; * Manage the workforce using available tools, such as: PDE (Employee Development Plan), PN10 (Top-Tier Professional), feedback, and time tracking; * Ensure compliance with VALE’s safety standards within the assigned area, aligned with the Occupational Health and Safety Policy; * Ensure compliance with operational, environmental, and quality procedures through team guidance and supervision in the assigned area; * Guarantee maintenance team adherence to VALE initiatives, especially during collective bargaining periods; * Ensure team unity through organizational climate monitoring and management; * Disseminate corporate information across the team, such as personnel movement across departments, mergers and acquisitions, among others; * Align with the company’s Code of Ethics and convey its values to the team; **We’re thrilled to have someone like you:** * Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Industrial, Electrical, Electronic, or related fields) or Administration. * Minimum 5 years’ experience managing maintenance teams. * Technical knowledge of preventive and corrective maintenance for mobile mining equipment (mixed fleet: small, medium, and large-scale). * Proficiency in SAP for maintenance management. * Availability to work on shift (07:00–19:00), Monday through Friday.
