The Kitchen Assistant is responsible for acting as one of the main contributors to kitchen production. * Always remain attentive to daily demands and, whenever possible, assist the opposite shift in production tasks to ensure smooth overall kitchen operations. * Responsible for maintaining the entire production area clean, organized, and standardized according to the layout defined by the department. * Perform tasks such as pre-preparation, dish plating, portioning, ingredient sanitation, and organization of utensils and equipment used in production. * Monitor and verify all Service Orders (SOs) related to the pastry section to ensure deliveries meet requirements. * Assist chefs and the Sous Chef with departmental routines once primary tasks are completed. * Seek to develop new technical skills with support from chefs, as part of continuous professional development and advancement. * In case of baker or pastry chef absences, assume responsibility for opening breakfast service, ensuring proper setup and correct operation of the dining area. * Comply with food safety regulations, Good Handling Practices, personal hygiene standards, and kitchen organization requirements. * Collaborate with the team in sanitizing equipment and common kitchen areas at the end of each shift. 2511260202401831082
