Amazon Logistics is seeking a Team Leader to join the AMZL Brazil team at our Delivery Station in João Pessoa/PB. Key job responsibilities As a team leader, you will oversee one of our delivery stations, providing leadership to associates and managing performance against key metrics—Key Performance Indicators (KPIs). You will assume many roles and work in a highly collaborative environment that feels more like a startup than a large corporation. The mindset is that no idea is a bad idea, and the best ideas are those that should be tested and experimented with. You must thrive and deliver results in an ambiguous, fast-paced, and dynamic environment. This role involves: * Being physically present at the delivery station. Amazon operates 24/7, so working various shifts—including weekends and holidays—will be part of this role. * Creating and cultivating a safe workplace by identifying safety opportunities within your area. * Leading and training associates to deliver the best possible service to our customers. * Ensuring customer orders are fulfilled in accordance with safety and quality guidelines. * Continuously communicating critical shift-related information to operators. * Collaborating with support functions and/or other departments to address shared performance indicator issues—for example, readiness processes, 5S, safety, and training. * Monitoring route progress and proactively identifying and correcting deviations, with a focus on exceeding customer expectations and managing operational costs. - Conducting meetings, assigning tasks, and working with KPIs such as on-time dispatch, first-day delivery success, and improved customer service. * Being obsessed with metrics and diving deep to quickly identify root causes to drive improvements. * Finding practical, simple solutions to complex problems without compromising quality or core functionality. * Providing daily support during the launch/implementation of newer systems/processes and collecting feedback. * Continuously utilizing software and hardware tools to ensure smooth day-to-day operations. * Ensuring associates have appropriate tools to perform their jobs and coordinating repairs or replacements when necessary. * Communicating daily metrics and reporting exceptions to other Operations departments and across Amazon as needed. **BASIC QUALIFICATIONS** ------------------------ * High School * Experience with Microsoft Office products and applications **PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS** ---------------------------- * Intermediate English Our inclusive culture empowers Amazonians to deliver the best results for our customers.
