Operate machines such as: crawler tractor, excavator, loader, grader (motor grader), backhoe, agricultural tractor, and other field equipment, handling basic controls for movement, traction, steering, excavation, cutting, and lifting, paying attention to personal and asset safety precautions, to perform basic excavation operations, trench digging, land and yard leveling, earth removal, waste and similar materials, following instructions from specialized operators and/or immediate supervisors. **Responsibilities and duties** * Operate field machinery, manipulating basic movement and steering devices, adjusting panels, performing minor engine or other mechanical adjustments, in order to position the equipment according to work requirements; * Operate tracked machinery such as crawler tractor, compactor roller, and hydraulic excavator, using basic traction and hydraulic controls, taking safety precautions, to spread, compact, and cover waste, perform simple trench excavation, move and/or remove soil, waste, and other materials; * Operate loader, backhoe, agricultural tractor, crawler tractor, hydraulic excavator, and compactor roller by activating pedals and basic control levers to perform cutting, lifting, and opening tasks, following safety regulations, to dig trenches, level terrain and yards, compact soil, among other services; * Operate by activating basic control levers for cutting, lifting, and earth removal, paying attention to safety conditions, to carry out vertical drainage (PDR), assisting in slope maintenance and general field cleaning; * Ensure equipment preservation, clean and lubricate moving parts, and monitor and refill oil, water, and/or fuel levels to keep them fully operational; * Report any need for repair or replacement of parts upon detecting abnormal operation; * Remain vigilant regarding unsafe acts or conditions within internal or third-party teams, reporting and/or taking preventive actions according to institutional guidelines; * Perform other tasks of similar nature and complexity as determined by supervisor. * Comply with policies, procedures, and standards established by the specific management system, use preventive equipment, observe regulatory norms and procedures, report deviations, and propose corrections for unsafe acts, contributing to the implementation and maintenance of regulatory, legal requirements, and SGI governing principles; * Participate in internal events, campaigns, and training related to SGI. **Requirements and qualifications** * Elementary education – 4th grade. Professional training course desirable. * Mandatory proof of Heavy Machinery Operator Training based on NR 11. * Situational training in machine operation for at least three (3) months and certification recognized by supervisor. * Physical endurance, keen observation, concentrated attention, initiative, and good interpersonal relationship skills. * Minimum experience of 6 to 12 months in the role.
