We are looking for a **Fiber Optic Maintenance Operator** to carry out activities related to maintaining our fiber optic network, performing vehicle inspections before starting work, identifying the need for vehicle maintenance—including monitoring maintenance execution and vehicle washes—and handling G\-PON network equipment in Data Center racks.

**Responsibilities and Duties**
* Embody the organizational identity of the Brisanet Group;
* Actively participate in organizational meetings and commitments when requested;
* Use individual and collective personal protective equipment (PPE) when required;
* Drive company vehicles when necessary;
* Perform other duties related to the position as required by the department and leadership direction;
* Maintain company vehicles in compliance with Fleet Management-defined processes, ensuring proper functioning;
* Perform workplace safety procedures, such as APR \- Preliminary Risk Analysis and use of PPE, per applicable legislation;
* Conduct vehicle inspections before starting work, identifying the need for vehicle maintenance—including monitoring maintenance execution and vehicle washes;
* Continuously use daily demand management systems, such as APR \- Preliminary Risk Analysis, among others;
* Handle electronic equipment such as power meters, fusion splicers, OTDRs, etc.;
* Install and splice/terminate fiber optic cables;
* Perform OTDR testing to locate potential failure points in the fiber;
* Assemble optical distribution and termination structures (DGOs, DIOs, PTOs);
* Handle G\-PON network equipment in Data Center racks;
* Be responsible for managing supplies stored in your area.
**Requirements and Qualifications**
* Completed high school education;
* Basic computer skills;
* Knowledge of networks and computer maintenance;
* Familiarity with local geography;
* Driver's license "B" and defensive driving certification.
**Preferred qualifications:**
* 6 months of experience in telecommunications;
* Willingness to travel;
* Knowledge of access transmission technologies and media—twisted-pair cables and fiber optics;
* Router and signal repeater configuration;
* Structured cabling;
* Customer service techniques.
