**We have an opportunity for a Refrigeration Assistant** Provide immediate response to service requests, according to the responsibilities of the position, for maintenance across all hospital departments, taking appropriate precautionary measures by using the correct PPE in locations and tasks where required; Enter service tickets into the GLPI system with task-related information until completion, to provide feedback to requesters regarding service progress; Exchange information with Supervision regarding performed services, their progress and completion, and request material purchases when necessary; Ensure maintenance, cleaning, and preservation of all materials and equipment under your responsibility; Assist Refrigeration Technicians in the maintenance and installation of all refrigeration systems, freezers, cold rooms, and gas piping; Assist in transporting air-conditioning units; Clean air-conditioning units during preventive maintenance, using appropriate products; Assist in installing medical gas piping (oxygen, compressed air, nitrous oxide, and vacuum) supplying the entire hospital; Assist in maintaining medical gas piping and outlets for oxygen, compressed air, vacuum, and nitrous oxide, replacing valves and hoses in case of leaks across all applicable departments; Assist in corrective maintenance of vacuum outlets in the ICU, Operating Room, Endoscopy, and other departments as needed, based on service tickets opened in the system by respective departments, according to demand. Replacing valves and unclogging the network; Assist in preventive maintenance of vacuum outlets in the ICU, Operating Room, Endoscopy, and other departments as applicable, according to the annual schedule, performing network unclogging and replacing damaged valves. Assist in monthly preventive maintenance of air-conditioning equipment and central air-conditioning systems, as described in the PMOC report’s scheduled activities, including filter cleaning, HEPA filter replacement in central units, washing of units, electrical measurements, motor inspections, and other related tasks. Ensure accurate completion of PMOC reports and closure of service orders in the system.
