Who will you work with? You will join the Engineering team at Wabtec Corporation’s Governador Valadares unit. Within our organization, we develop solutions for customers in railway track maintenance, understanding their needs and transforming them into unique global projects. We are innovators by nature! Our team comprises engineers, technicians, and designers. One of our responsibilities is producing technical documents, catalogs, specifications, and data sheets for the equipment we manufacture, as well as delivering theoretical and practical training. How will you make a difference? As a Technical Documentation Assistant within the Engineering department, you will be invited to learn our full portfolio of solutions, interact directly with customers and internal departments such as production and supply chain, and — most importantly — participate in initiatives to continually optimize our processes. You will work alongside professionals from various disciplines, educational backgrounds, and experiences, giving you opportunities to both learn and teach across a wide range of topics. What do we want to know about you?* Technical education in Mechanical, Electrotechnical, Electro-electronic, or Electromechanical fields, or a bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Mechanical, or Production Engineering; or currently enrolled in such a program; * Basic knowledge of English and Spanish; * Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools; * Organization and proactivity; * Strong grammar and writing skills; * Commitment to diversity and ability to work effectively in teams. What will your day-to-day look like? You will directly support the preparation, translation, and adaptation of equipment catalogs and manuals, assisting the technical team in drafting these documents. Additionally, you will participate in theoretical and practical training sessions for equipment manufactured by the company, accompanying commissioning activities alongside the Engineering team and the company’s technical staff.
