Teamwork and focus on operational quality #### **About the position:** The Butcher Assistant is the professional responsible for serving customers at the butcher counter and cutting meat to better meet customer needs, ensuring product quality and service excellence. #### **Main responsibilities:** * Monitor product expiration dates on display, inspecting the counter daily and checking identification and expiration labels to minimize losses. * Serve customers at the butcher counter with courtesy and attentiveness, aiming for high-quality service. * Cut meat using appropriate equipment—such as meat grinders, band saws, knives, and others—while strictly adhering to safety regulations to ensure operational quality and optimal customer service. * Organize refrigerated chambers, wearing required PPE and complying with company safety regulations to enhance operational efficiency. * Package and weigh products requested by customers, respecting and following each product’s codes to improve customer service. * Place products in appropriate packaging for sale, following specific weighing instructions for each item to maintain service quality. * Arrange products attractively on the meat counter, monitoring restocking needs and maintaining an appealing, clean, and organized layout. * Assist in monitoring counter temperatures by checking the thermometer daily and promptly reporting any anomalies to the immediate supervisor, ensuring proper product preservation and minimizing losses. * Assist, as needed, in restocking chilled and frozen items, following storage instructions to ensure proper presentation and preservation of products. * Assist, as needed, in receiving goods—including loading, storing, and supporting verification—to promote operational efficiency. * Comply with technical and quality standards, as well as safety, hygiene, health, and environmental protection procedures. * Assist in cleaning, maintaining, and organizing the workplace using sanitization techniques to keep the area in perfect condition and fully operational. * Clean and maintain tools and equipment used for meat cutting according to established hygiene requirements and standards. * Greet customers whenever passing by, maintaining eye contact and demonstrating courtesy to ensure service excellence. * Ask customers if they need assistance whenever necessary, guiding them to the relevant section or product and suggesting complementary items where appropriate. * Perform other related duties as assigned by the immediate supervisor or based on company demand. #### **Mandatory requirements:** * Flexible availability regarding working hours. * Strong communication skills and proactivity. * Ability to work effectively in a team. * Physical fitness to stand for extended periods. * Medical fitness for work in refrigerated environments. * Organizational skills and attention to detail. * NO PRIOR EXPERIENCE REQUIRED #### **Benefits:** * Meal Ticket R$400 * Attendance Bonus R$150 * Health Insurance * Dental Insurance * Life Insurance * Transportation Allowance * Performance Bonus * Courses and Training * Various Discount Partnerships #### **Work schedule and working hours:** Monday to Saturday, CLT, full-time.
