Junior Tax Analyst 1

Responsible for handling all tax-related activities of the company, including knowledge of tax legislation and skills in financial calculations and interpretation of regulations; performing tax closing and settlement for both direct and indirect taxes; conducting accounting reconciliations; performing accounting entries; issuing electronic sales invoices, future delivery invoices, triangular transaction invoices, import/export invoices, service invoices, among others; handling tax substitution and tax anticipation; complying with tax legislation; performing accounting entries; preparing and analyzing balance sheets; carrying out monthly trial balance reconciliations and closings; calculating taxes; filing federal and state tax returns; preparing SPED Fiscal and contribution reports. Execute the fiscal bookkeeping process; prepare and submit applications for authorization to print fiscal invoices and requests for certificates. Occasionally and as needed, perform banking, notary, and postal services. * Entering documents into the system (e.g., DANFE, DACTE, DARF, GARE, etc.); * Verifying values (tax base, accounting value, credited and debited tax amounts) in the Purchase Ledger, Sales Ledger, ICMS and IPI Settlement Registers prior to closing and submission to the accounting office; * Generating monthly files for the accounting office; * Sending daily documents received by the company to the accounting office to support accounting activities (e.g., bank statements, paid DARFs, sales invoices with PIS and COFINS withholdings, etc.); * Controlling and recording ICMS credits related to fixed assets (CIAP); * Withholding taxes (ISS, IR, INSS, PIS, COFINS, CSLL) on services received; * Billing (products and services); * Controlling and recording other ICMS credits and debits in ICMS settlement; * Submitting and registering responses to notifications and requests; * Filing and managing physical and digital tax documents and reports; * Updating the Added Value Margin (MVA) of products in the system (Tax Substitution); * Monitoring and managing CNDs and other certificates.
