Job Description – Hydraulic Excavator Operator Position: Hydraulic Excavator Operator Department: Construction / Production Reports to: Construction Supervisor / Foreman Job Summary: Responsible for operating a hydraulic excavator in excavation, loading, material handling, and supporting earthwork, drainage, and foundation activities. Must ensure tasks are performed safely, with quality and productivity, while maintaining proper care and use of the equipment. Main Responsibilities: Operate hydraulic excavator according to safety regulations and technical instructions; Perform excavations, trenches, cuts, backfills, and truck loading; Conduct daily equipment inspections, checking oil levels, fuel, hydraulic system, and tires/tracks; Immediately report any irregularities, malfunctions, or maintenance needs; Assist in site organization and positioning of machinery and trucks; Follow instructions from the construction supervisor and collaborate with field team members; Ensure compliance with safety and environmental regulations; Keep equipment clean and in good working condition. Requirements: Completed elementary education; Hydraulic Excavator Operator training course (with valid certificate); Minimum of 1 year of experience in the role; Valid driver's license category C or higher; Basic knowledge of preventive maintenance and safety standards NR 11 and NR 12 (desirable).
