Job Summary: GTOP is seeking a cashier to serve customers, register merchandise, collect payments, and manage cash operations in compliance with protocols and regulations. Key Highlights: 1. Contribution to campaign targets and loss reduction About Us GTOP comprises the brands Rede TOP, ObenCard, and Preceiro Atacadista. With multi-family administration, the group operates 22 Rede TOP stores and 5 Preceiro Atacadista stores, totaling approximately 2\.000 employees, 300 checkouts, and 35\.000 m² of sales area. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES Responsible for cashier operations and customer service, adhering to established protocols, rules, regulations, and standards; registering merchandise, collecting payments, performing cash withdrawals, closing the cash register, and preparing end-of-shift financial reports. TASKS TO BE PERFORMED Ensure excellence in customer service at the cashier, following established protocols, rules, regulations, and standards; scanning/weighing products, consulting code tables, checking product labels, verifying weight on scales and system correspondence; processing payments—including verifying prior authorization and making proper notations on the back of checks when applicable—and authenticating cash payments; Ensure cash withdrawals during shifts and proper cash register closing by counting cash, reconciling totals, signing documentation, and delivering it to the Supervisor and/or depositing into a safe or 24-hour cash box—thereby preventing excessive exposed cash accumulation and ensuring accurate financial reporting; Contribute to achieving current campaign targets by promoting available products and services, identifying missing items, and promptly notifying the Supervisor for corrective action; Contribute to reducing losses at the checkout area through preventive measures—including minimizing bag waste, preventing theft, and expediting returns of perishable goods, etc.; Maintain the workstation and equipment in optimal working and clean condition; request bags, receipt rolls, and other supplies as needed; Assist in sorting merchandise for home delivery when required, ensuring optimal packaging; Assist with related tasks as needed, such as shelf stocking, checkout stand replenishment, product pricing and expiration date verification, gift wrapping, etc.; Requirements **Academic Qualification:** Completed elementary education **Additional Information:** 100% in-person position **Work Location:** Rua Bonifácio Haendchen, 1120 \- Belchior Central, Gaspar \- SC, 89110\-000 **Working Hours:** 12:50–15:00, 16:10–21:20 **Benefits:** Health Insurance Dental Insurance Pharmacy Benefit Program Shopping Benefits at Group Stores Life Insurance * Position available for Persons with Disabilities (PCD)
