Job Summary: We are seeking a Steel Structure Designer responsible for structural detailing, drafting, and structural calculations, with an industrial perspective to optimize manufacturing processes. Industrial Perspective for Manufacturing Optimization **WE ARE LOOKING FOR A STEEL STRUCTURE DESIGNER** **Main Duties and Responsibilities** * **Detailing and Drafting:** Preparation of fabrication drawings (sketches), assembly diagrams, and material lists using software such as AutoCAD and BIM. * **Structural Calculation:** Sizing of sections, welds, and connections, ensuring compliance with technical standards such as ABNT NBR 8800\. * **Industrial Perspective:** Planning the structure considering the manufacturing process (cutting, bending, welding) to avoid rework, and understanding how the design performs in the factory.**Education and Competencies** * **Professional Profile:** Typically Civil Engineers, Mechanical Engineers, or Technicians in Building Construction/Steel Structures. * **Skills:** Strong knowledge of technical standards, technical detailing, drawing interpretation, and relevant software. * **Preferred Qualifications:** Experience with safety standards (NBR) and understanding of on-site assembly.
