Job Summary: A Forklift Operator is responsible for operating material handling equipment to ensure safe and efficient transportation and storage of materials. Key Highlights: 1. Safe and efficient forklift operation for cargo handling. 2. Material organization and verification to maintain appropriate inventory. 3. Collaboration with teams to achieve goals and objectives. A Forklift Operator is responsible for operating material handling equipment, transporting and storing materials safely and efficiently. This professional must have experience operating forklifts, knowledge of safety regulations, and the ability to maneuver equipment in confined spaces. * Operate forklifts for loading and unloading materials, following work instructions and safety regulations * Transport materials to designated storage locations, organizing inventory appropriately * Verify materials, checking quantity and quality of items handled * Maintain forklifts in good working condition by performing daily inspections and reporting any issues * Ensure workplace cleanliness and organization, contributing to a safe and productive environment * Report incidents or irregularities to immediate supervisors to ensure prompt and effective resolution * Collaborate with the logistics team and other departments, working integrally to meet established goals and objectives * Participate in training and development programs to enhance technical knowledge and forklift operation skills REQUIREMENTS: Experience in this role. Experience operating Combilift forklifts is preferred. EDUCATION: Completed elementary school. Completed high school is preferred.
