About Us
GTOP comprises the brands Rede TOP, ObenCard, and Preceiro Atacadista. With multi-family management, the group operates 22 Rede TOP stores and 5 Preceiro Atacadista stores, totaling approximately 2\.000 employees, 300 checkouts, and 35\.000 m² of sales area.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
Responsible for supervising, organizing, controlling, and monitoring daily meat department operations; guiding and clarifying team members' questions; preparing and managing work schedules, overtime, and time-off requests; defining priorities and requirements related to cutting, weighing, pricing, restocking, and packaging; standardizing procedures to maximize operational efficiency, product quality, and service standards while complying with regulations, good practices manuals, hygiene and safety norms, established standards, and performance goals; as well as providing customer service and sales support.
ACTIVITIES TO BE PERFORMED
Ensure a positive shopping experience by meeting customer needs, surprising and advising them on the variety of products offered, and making appropriate sales suggestions;
Ensure, promote, and enhance sales targets through strategic planning of product mix, establishing production and display schedules for the most attractive and distinctive items, and maintaining courteous customer relationships;
Minimize meat department losses and spoilage by guiding, monitoring, and controlling daily team activities and operations; defining and standardizing operational procedures; and supervising or performing proper meat handling and storage;
Manage procurement orders for departmental merchandise, analyze and administer inventory levels, review sales history, seasonal trends, and specific promotions, and schedule purchases in advance to ensure continuous supply without stockouts, losses, or shortages;
Organize and store leftover bones, fat, and tallow in the designated collector box for sale to bone-processing factories;
Ensure the product counter is always fully stocked, correctly priced, organized, and clean, guiding, controlling, and monitoring daily routines;
Oversee goods receipt, and organize, direct, and/or store items in freezers and chillers, following hygiene, safety, and pre\-established standards;
Manage personnel matters including vacation scheduling, time banks, leave entitlements, and other work-hour-related demands, by reviewing managerial reports issued by the HR department and providing guidance to team members;
Promote team professional development and motivation through regular feedback, performance monitoring, and technical and behavioral training;
Participate in periodic departmental inventories and ensure data accuracy;
Conduct ongoing training and guidance for the team;

**Additional Information:**
Experience (in the field): Meat Department
**Preferred Academic Qualification:** Completed or currently pursuing a bachelor's degree
**Minimum Academic Qualification:** Completed high school education
**Specific Knowledge:** Meat deboning processes, specialized cutting techniques, meat counter setup, food handling, sales analysis, margin assessment, loss tracking, and production control
