Job Summary: An Italian pizzeria and bar in Itajaí/SC is seeking an experienced Head Chef to lead operations, ensuring quality, standardization, and team development. Key Highlights: 1. Menu development and cost management Salary: R$ 3.000,00 - R$ 4.500,00 per month Working Hours: * Monday to Saturday (day off on Sundays) * Shift: Night * Weekly workload: 44 hours Job Description: An Italian pizzeria and bar in Itajaí/SC is hiring an experienced Head Chef to lead our operations. We seek a professional committed to quality, standardization, and team development. Responsibilities: * Lead and organize the kitchen team during service * Ensure dish standardization according to technical specifications * Manage inventory, ingredient expiration dates, and waste * Supervise kitchen opening and closing procedures * Train new staff and monitor team performance * Ensure compliance with food hygiene and safety regulations * Manage mise en place and production flow during peak hours * Support the owner in menu, cost, and supplier-related decisions Requirements: * Minimum 3 years of experience as a Head Chef (mandatory) * Knowledge of good food handling practices * Experience leading a kitchen team * Availability to work Monday to Saturday on the night shift * Residence in Itajaí, Navegantes, or surrounding areas Preferred Qualifications: * Experience in pizzerias or Italian cuisine * Knowledge of artisanal doughs and wood-fired ovens * Technical gastronomy course or equivalent qualification * Experience with cost control and COGS (Cost of Goods Sold) Benefits: * Salary commensurate with experience (R$ 3,000 to R$ 4,200) * Formal employment contract (CLT) * On-site meal during shift * Day off on Sundays * 13th salary * Paid vacation + 1/3 bonus * FGTS (Guaranteed Fund for Time of Service) Job Type: Full-time CLT Salary: R$ 3.000,00 to R$ 4.200,00 per month Schedule: Monday to Saturday, night shift Job Type: Full-time Pay: R$3,200.00 - R$4,200.00 per month Work Location: In person
