The selected candidate will be responsible for **providing operational support across various mine activities**, ensuring organization, safety, and efficiency in daily routines—including support to pumping fronts, signage, drilling, and bit sharpening. **Job Objective** Perform general support activities in mine operations, contributing to process efficiency, maintenance of operational safety, and support to drilling, pumping, and signage teams, while ensuring proper organization of work areas and equipment. **Key Responsibilities****General Operational Activities** --------------------------------- * Assist in preparing, organizing, and cleaning work areas in the mine. * Transport materials, tools, and equipment using light vehicles (when authorized). * Support assembly and disassembly of simple structures and equipment. * Conduct basic inspections of work areas and equipment, reporting anomalies and unsafe conditions. * Maintain a clean, organized, and safe working environment. **Support for Pumping Activities** -------------------------------------- * Assist in installation, movement, and organization of pumps, hoses, and accessories. * Monitor pump operation, checking for leaks, unusual noises, or irregularities. * Ensure cleanliness of the pumping area and related equipment. * Promptly report any maintenance requirements. **Mine Signage Activities** ------------------------------------- * Assist in installing and maintaining safety, directional, and informational signage. * Position cones, tapes, and signage devices according to instructions. * Ensure visibility and integrity of existing signage. * Report damaged, missing, or improperly positioned signs. **Drilling Support** ---------------------- * Assist in transporting, organizing, and cleaning drill rods, drill bits, and accessories. * Support connecting and disconnecting rods and bits, strictly following safety procedures. * Assist in cleaning and organizing drilling fronts. * Observe drill rig operation and promptly report any anomalies to the responsible operator. **Bit Sharpening Support (where applicable)** ---------------------------------------------- * Assist in collecting, organizing, and moving bits requiring sharpening. * Operate simple sharpening equipment after specific training. * Perform visual inspection of sharpened bits. * Store and organize bits according to established standards. **Required Qualifications*** Completed elementary education. * Availability to work under a 14x14 schedule and in typical open-pit mining conditions (dust, noise, climatic variations). * Physical capacity to perform tasks such as lifting loads, walking, and standing for extended periods. * Flexibility to perform diverse tasks as required by operational needs. **Preferred Qualifications*** Completed high school education. * Prior experience in operational roles (mining, civil construction, agriculture, or industrial sectors). * Experience in pumping, signage, or drilling support activities. * Basic knowledge of hand tools, light equipment, or drilling/sharpening equipment. * Driver’s license category B (categories D or E preferred). **Additional Information*** **Work model:** On-site * **Location:** TZ Mine – Itaituba/PA * **Work schedule:** 14x14 * **Benefits:** Transportation, accommodation, and meals provided by the company * **Residence requirement:** Must reside in Itaituba, Santarém (PA), or nearby regions Minimum Education Level: High School (Secondary Education) Driver’s License: B, D, E Willingness to travel
