At Magnum, you’ll have the opportunity to build your career within a team that values sustainable growth, encourages development, and is committed to excellence. **\#AMagnumÉShow** **Responsibilities and Duties** * Implement and configure PostgreSQL environments from initial setup (Cloud SQL or equivalent on GCP); * Define standards for database modeling, naming conventions, versioning, and organization; * Establish data governance policies, access controls, and auditing procedures; * Ensure high availability, backup, restore, and disaster recovery (DR) plans; * Monitor query performance and optimize data structures (indexes, partitioning, tuning); * Collaborate with the .NET Core development team to ensure best practices in data modeling and access; * Design database migration and versioning strategies using tools such as Evolve; * Implement data security and encryption policies; * Monitor resource consumption and optimize data-related costs in the GCP environment; * Create technical documentation and internal best-practice standards; * Support internal and external audits related to data and LGPD compliance; * Proactively identify bottlenecks and risks associated with the database. **Requirements and Qualifications** Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related fields; Prior experience as a DBA with hands-on work in PostgreSQL, preferably in cloud environments; Advanced PostgreSQL administration; Implementation and management of databases on Google Cloud Platform (Cloud SQL); Backup, restore, replication, and high-availability strategies; Performance tuning and execution plan analysis; Relational data modeling and normalization; Data governance and access control; Database versioning and migrations (Evolve or similar); Experience integrating with .NET applications; Production monitoring and troubleshooting.
