Job Summary: Colégio Catarinense is seeking a Physics Teacher for 2026, responsible for monitoring student performance, developing course programs, and participating in the school’s pedagogical proposal. Colégio Catarinense, part of the Jesuit Educational Network, is seeking a new professional to join its team in 2026 as a **Physics Teacher**, based at its Florianópolis/SC downtown campus. **Responsibilities and Duties** * Monitor student performance by evaluating them in academic activities according to defined objectives. * Stay updated on external assessment dynamics to enhance student preparation. * Keep abreast of Brazilian educational legislation concerning competencies and skills related to the curriculum component taught. * Monitor and record students’ academic and socio-emotional development using institutional assessment tools. * Provide parent/guardian support as scheduled and per Academic Coordination guidelines. * Register student incidents and grades/concepts in the institutional information system according to the prescribed frequency. * Monitor and acknowledge notifications and guidance sent via electronic mail (e-mail). * Produce, update, and publish materials on the virtual platform per institutional guidelines. * Work in academic areas of education. * Develop, with support from other specialized institutional staff, strategies to support students’ social, cognitive, psychomotor, affective, and spiritual development. * Develop curricula, course plans, and lesson plans within their teaching area and competence, aligned with the school’s curricular and academic proposal. * Prepare an annual report of their activities. * Inform coordination and/or services about class progress and individual student status. * Deliver classes and ensure students' holistic learning. * Participate in developing the school's pedagogical proposal. * Attend meetings, class councils, parent/guardian conferences, religious and civic activities, and other events relevant to student formation as outlined in the Political-Pedagogical Project and annual schedule. * Reserve spaces for differentiated activities. * Adhere to the “Mode of Procedure and General Guidelines for Teachers” established by the Jesuit Educational Network and the Society of Jesus. **Requirements and Qualifications** * Education: Bachelor’s degree in Education (Licentiate) in the relevant field; * Prior teaching experience in the relevant field; * Specializations, Master’s, and Doctoral degrees will be considered advantageous.
