Job Summary: A Production Assistant is responsible for restocking merchandise, serving customers, preparing and packaging products, performing departmental production and organization tasks, and assisting with cleaning. Maintaining organization and hygiene in the department **Imperatriz Supermarket at Floripa Shopping** We are hiring a Production Assistant for the closing shift from 2:00 PM to 11:00 PM. Requirements: - Completed high school education; - Valid documentation; - Flexible availability for shifts; Responsibilities: Restock merchandise on the counter whenever items are sold; Provide excellent customer service by fulfilling product requests and answering questions, while recommending and suggesting products; Prepare (e.g., cutting, sorting) and package products according to departmental manual instructions; Prepare and deliver requested products (by weight, type, etc.) properly packaged and labeled with the corresponding product code; Store products in their designated refrigerated chambers; Daily removal of spoiled, unsightly, or expired merchandise, verifying expiration dates of displayed items; Label products using internal codes as required for sales areas and company directives; Verify that all products are properly labeled (price, origin, manufacturing date, expiration date, and composition); Produce various departmental products, including baking, boiling, and frying; Record daily quantities of non-reusable merchandise remaining at store closing (leftovers/breakage); Place daily orders for merchandise to the central production facility; Daily verification of merchandise delivered by the central production facility against delivery invoices; Clean equipment, facilities, and utensils as needed; Notify department leadership regarding maintenance or repair needs for machinery, electrical systems, and hydraulic systems; Dispose of non-reusable merchandise remaining at store closing in designated waste bins; Participate in the company’s mentorship program by training, instructing, and transferring departmental tasks and company policies to new employees; Perform other related duties as required or directed by department leadership and/or store management. Remove products from refrigerated chambers for proper preparation.
