Comprehensive operational support in the butcher shop area Imperatriz Supermarket at Floripa Shopping We are hiring a Production Assistant for the closing shift from 2:00 PM to 10:30 PM\. Requirements: \- Completed high school education; \- Valid and up-to-date documents; \- Flexible working hours; Responsibilities: Assist the butcher in preparing (cutting, sorting, etc.) and packaging products according to departmental manual instructions; Assist the butcher in preparing, cutting, and delivering customer-requested products (slicing, portioning, grinding, and weighing), properly packaged and labeled with the product code; Label products according to the internal code for sales area and company directives; Verify that products are correctly labeled (price, origin, manufacturing date, expiration date, label placement); Assemble, seal, and label trays of butcher shop products for display and for refrigerated chambers; Sterilize equipment and tools used for meat handling before and after each use; Sort products for restaurant and kitchen use upon request; Perform pricing and price re-tagging as directed by department leadership; Restock merchandise on counters and refrigerated and frozen islands whenever items are sold; Remove daily all deteriorated or unsightly merchandise, verifying expiration dates of displayed products; Clean equipment, facilities, and utensils as needed; Load and unload products onto trucks using hydraulic equipment and store products in designated locations; Assist the butcher in checking incoming goods and inventory when requested; Store refrigerated and frozen products in their respective chambers; Prepare product display areas in the sales zone according to departmental manual instructions; Set up machines used for departmental activities; Observe occupational safety, organization, and hygiene standards as instructed; Assist the Department Leader in conducting the general inventory; Report to department leadership any need for maintenance or repair of machinery, electrical systems, hydraulic systems, lighting fixtures, and counters; Place all cardboard, plastic, and packaging paper into the hydraulic press, operate it, and forward materials to the recycling department; Participate in departmental and equipment hygiene and cleaning activities; Attend meetings and training sessions scheduled by department leadership and management; Deliver to customers the quantity and type of product requested.
