Monitor and advise on sector-specific legislation Our client is a real estate development company with a forward-looking vision; currently among the largest civil construction companies in Brazil — ranked 48th largest construction company in the country according to the Intec/2021 Ranking — and is seeking a lawyer. **Responsibilities:** **Draft, review, and negotiate real estate contracts:** purchase and sale, exchange, promise-to-sell, assignment, contract termination, addendums, and related documents; Conduct legal due diligence for land acquisition and project launch; **Support notarial and administrative activities:** area correction, subdivision, registration of real estate development, establishment of condominiums, annotations; Issue legal opinions regarding business risks, land regularization, urban planning regimes, and land use and occupation regulations; Collaborate with commercial, engineering, and executive departments to provide legal support during negotiations with clients and partners; Represent the company in notices, judicial proceedings, or administrative procedures related to the sector; Monitor and advise on sector-specific legislation (Real Estate Development Law, Contract Termination Law, Civil Code, etc.); Maintain relationships with notary offices, municipal governments, environmental agencies, and other regulatory bodies; Support the structuring of special-purpose entities (SPEs) and partnerships. **Requirements:** Bachelor's degree in Law; Specialization in Real Estate Law or proven experience in this field; Practical knowledge of Real Property Registration, Contract Law, Urban Planning Law, and Civil Liability; Experience with real estate developments, land subdivisions, and negotiations with landowners; Strong communication and negotiation skills with clients, partners, and public agencies; Desirable: knowledge of SPE and SCP formation, and corporate structuring for real estate projects. **Preferred Qualifications:** Postgraduate degree in Real Estate Law, Urban Planning Law, or Registry Law; Prior experience at real estate developers, construction companies, or specialized law firms; Familiarity with document and legal process management tools. **Benefits:** Meal allowance; Health insurance (after probationary period). **Working Hours:** Monday to Friday, from 7:30 AM to 5:30 PM, including break **Work Location:** **Neighborhood:** Alto Perequê **City:** Porto Belo **State:** Santa Catarina
