Responsible for ensuring the stability, security, and performance of computing environments, performing administration, maintenance, and evolution of the organization’s operating systems. This professional will also lead infrastructure projects, ensuring compliance with technical standards and best practices. All share a common strategic vision focused on excellence in service delivery and solution implementation. **Responsibilities and Duties** **Planning and Implementation** * Define operating systems suitable for the corporate environment (Linux, Windows, etc.). * Plan and execute installation, configuration, and updates of operating systems. **Administration and Monitoring** * Manage physical and virtual servers, ensuring high availability. * Monitor system performance, capacity, and security. * Implement backup, recovery, and access control policies. **Security and Compliance** * Apply patches and critical updates. * Ensure compliance with internal standards and regulations. * Configure firewalls and security policies. **Automation and Continuous Improvement** * Develop scripts to automate tasks (PowerShell, Bash, Python). * Research and evaluate new technologies to optimize environments. **Support and Documentation** * Provide advanced-level technical support to internal teams. * Prepare technical documentation and operational procedures. **Management and Leadership** * Coordinate teams in infrastructure projects. * Serve as focal point for critical incidents and contingency plans. **Requirements and Qualifications** * Analysts must hold at least one certification from each group * Group 1: * SUSE Certified, Red Hat Certified, Linux LPIC\-2 or higher, CCNA, CompTIA Security\+, CompTIA CySA\+, Microsoft Windows Server (2012 or later); * If none of the above certifications are held, the following certifications will also be accepted: Linux LPIC\-1, Microsoft MCTS, or Microsoft MCP—provided that at least 280 hours of training related to the following areas are completed: * Linux / Unix / Windows Server operating systems; or * Computer network services; or * Information security; or * Data storage networks / storage; * Proof of training hours requires submission of a participation/completion certificate. Group 2: * Linux Professional Institute \- LPIC\-1; * Microsoft Certified Professional (MCP); * Microsoft Certified Technology Specialist (MCTS); * RHCSA – Red Hat Certified System Administrator; Group 3: * MCSA Windows 10 certification (or higher); * Microsoft MTA Windows Operating System Fundamentals certification; * Microsoft MTA Windows Server Administration Fundamentals certification; * Microsoft MTA Networking Fundamentals certification.
