Main Responsibilities: * Operate power plant facilities from the control room and, exceptionally, in the field, ensuring safe and optimal operation of equipment and processes in accordance with established instructions - Monitor process variables in real time via alarms and trend charts; promptly execute various operational instructions issued by the engineering department or emergency plans, making systemic decisions aimed at ensuring personnel safety, environmental protection, facility integrity, production continuity, and operational efficiency - Guide field operators during real-time maneuvers and necessary inspections related to power plant operations - Assess risks associated with work permit requests - Interpret control and automation logic, flow diagrams, and other operational system drawings of the power plant according to equipment technical manuals - Complete internal process control worksheets in accordance with defined procedures - Monitor equipment behavior via control screens, checking for any anomalies (failures or malfunctions) * Perform various equipment maneuvers—including valves, circuit breakers, and disconnect switches—in coordination with other operators and per the Supervisor’s plan * Report all technical or safety incidents occurring during your shift to Supervision via shift logbook entries and/or the Daily Operations Report * Update plant system operational procedures and submit them to the Supervisor for validation * Contribute to optimizing plant operations to achieve improved operating conditions through direct, objective communication and in accordance with Supervision’s guidance * Identify equipment issues, request corrective and preventive maintenance as needed by submitting Service Requests, and immediately notify the Supervisor upon identification * Support Supervision with technical and operational information whenever required, and populate performance indicators with data related to responsibilities - Maintain good relations between maintenance and operations teams, and collaborate with other operations teams - Requirements: * Technical degree with active CFT (Electrical Engineering; Electronics; Instrumentation; Automation—or similar fields) Preferred Qualifications: - Knowledge of automation and programming logic; numerical aptitude - Proficiency in computer applications and systems Work Location: Silves-AM Learn more about us at: www.eneva.com.br.
