Job Summary: Kitchen Assistant who will support the preparation of ingredients, dish assembly, and organization of the Japanese kitchen. Key Highlights: 1. Support in organizing dining areas and sanitation **Working Hours and Location** Location: Parque 10 de Novembro Schedule: 6x1 (one day off per week) * Tuesday to Thursday: 2:40 PM to 11:00 PM * Friday to Sunday: 3:40 PM to 12:00 AM Weekend shift rotation upon departure. **Compensation and Benefits** CLT employment contract Salary: R$ 1.621,00 * Food Allowance: R$ 300,00 * Meal Voucher: R$ 19.50/day * Mobility Allowance * Dental Plan * Performance-based Bonus * Discount on Singular Sushi products * Partnership with Espaçolaser * SESC Membership * Birthday Day Off (and for children up to age 12) * Christmas Basket * Learning and growth-oriented environment **Operational Responsibilities** * Wash, sanitize, cut, and portion ingredients. * Assist in preparing kitchen ingredients and food. * Support cooking Japanese rice and assembling simple dishes (e.g., hosomakis, basic uramakis, fritters, appetizers). * Perform simple frying (hots, tempuras, breaded items) and assist in finalizing dishes under supervision. * Support cleaning, preservation, and cutting of fish and seafood. * Assist the sushi chef/sushiwoman in organizing workstations and preparing ingredients. * Help finalize dishes in both hot and cold stations, ensuring Singular Sushi’s presentation standards and quality. * Organize and sanitize work surfaces, utensils, and equipment. * Remove garbage and assist in general kitchen cleaning when necessary. * Comply with food safety, hygiene, Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), and defined SOPs. **Job Requirements** * **Minimum Education:** Completed High School. * **Preferred Experience:** Minimum 6 months of kitchen experience, preferably in Japanese cuisine.
