Job Summary: UFSB and FAPEX are seeking educators/workshop facilitators specialized in Afro-Brazilian percussion/samba reggae and Afro-Brazilian dance to work in a cultural project. Key Highlights: 1. Work as an educator/workshop facilitator in a cultural project. 2. Teach classes and workshops on Afro-Brazilian percussion and Afro-Brazilian dance. 3. Lead collective creation processes. The Federal University of Southern Bahia (UFSB), for administrative and financial management of the Project, with support from the Foundation for Research and Extension Support (FAPEX), publicly announces the selection of **02 (two) service providers (individuals), comprising 1 professional specialized in Afro-Brazilian Percussion/Samba Reggae and 1 professional specialized in Afro-Brazilian Dance**, under the project "Project 240156 Afro Blocks, Education and Culture", to act as educators/workshop facilitators. Hiring will be conducted under the individual service provision modality. It consists of **two stages**: curriculum analysis (eliminatory) and interview (classificatory). **Vacancies:** 02 vacancies**.** Comprising 1 professional specialized in Afro-Brazilian Percussion/Samba Reggae and 1 professional specialized in Afro-Brazilian Dance \+ 4 reserve registrations. **Execution Period:** 07/20/2026 to 07/24/2026\. **Location:** CENTRO Bahia ITABUNA Praça José Bastos SN. **Remuneration:** R$5\.000,00 **Main Activities:** * Deliver classes, workshops, short courses, and theoretical-practical activities on percussion, Afro-Brazilian rhythm, samba reggae, and contemporary Afro ballet. * Lead collective creation processes. * And other related activities. **Requirements:** * At least 18 years of age. * Completed or ongoing undergraduate degree in Music, Dance, Arts, Pedagogical Education, Cultural Production, Physical Education, or related fields. * Experience teaching Afro-Brazilian percussion/samba reggae and Afro-Brazilian dance/Afro ballet. * Experience with social projects. **Important Information:** * Hiring as an individual, without employment ties; * Validity: August/2026 to November/2026; * In-person work; * Must have or open an account at Banco do Brasil; * Candidates recently affiliated (within the last 7 months) with FAPEX are ineligible; * Legal regulations governing support foundations and kinship-based ineligibility criteria apply; * Public-sector employees among candidates will be subject to legal review. Professionals may be dismissed in case of failure to perform assigned tasks, unsatisfactory performance, or irregularities in the process.
