Opportunity for those seeking teamwork and excellent customer service **We are seeking an Automotive Mechanic Assistant for Itabuna, BA.** **Reporting to the area manager, your responsibilities will include:** * Assisting in preventive and corrective mechanical maintenance of vehicles; * Assisting in assembly of brake, suspension, clutch, fuel injection, electronic systems, cleaning/maintenance and repair of automotive air conditioning; * Assisting in tire mounting, timing belt replacement, clutch replacement, spark plug replacement, exhaust system replacement, pivot replacement, routine maintenance (oil and filter changes), electronic fuel injection, and leak repairs; * Assisting with scanner diagnostics and other tasks as requested or per scheduled maintenance plans; * Assisting in inspection and testing of parts and assemblies prior to installation on vehicles; * Requisitioning replacement parts and auxiliary materials required to perform services; * Performing other related duties as required by the department. **Requirements** * Completed high school education or currently enrolled in an automotive mechanic technical program; * Driver's license category B is a plus; * Experience in auto centers, as this role focuses on suspension and brakes—not engine mechanics; * Ability to work effectively in a team; * Strong communication skills, organization, and proactivity; * Must provide excellent customer service, demonstrating willingness to assist customers with any questions.
