




Industrial Company **Position:** Rigger **Number of Vacancies:** 2 **Job Description / Responsibilities:** Assists in vessel mooring and unmooring operations. Responsible for inspecting slings, steel cables, shackles, lifting beams, and other related equipment, under the guidance of the Occupational Safety Technician. Responsible for maintenance and lubrication of steel cables, shackles, lifting beams, lifting baskets, and other related equipment. Performs heavy cargo handling activities as a signalman, rigger, or assistant, guiding cranes and similar equipment; signals designated areas for equipment operation; acts as a field signalman during machinery and lifting equipment operations; responsible for securing and monitoring cargo movements in accordance with the load capacity of used accessories, always seeking optimal securing methods upon request from the Technical Assistant and/or Operations Supervisor or Operations Coordinator, ensuring correct use of PPEs and collective protective equipment (CPEs). Participates in risk identification and assessment through Task Analysis (TA) and Job Hazard Analysis (JHA). Participates in and/or conducts Daily Safety Meetings (DSM). Understands, participates in, and contributes—within the scope of his/her responsibilities—to achieving goals and objectives established in the Quality, Safety, Environment, and Occupational Health (QSEOH) Policy. **Desired Education and Experience:** Completed elementary education. Minimum 1 year of experience as a Semi-Skilled Rigger in cargo handling activities within shipbuilding, ship repair, port, and/or offshore operations. 1 year of experience and/or specialization; intermediate Excel proficiency and basic Word skills. **Work Modality:** On-site **Neighborhood:** Centro **City:** Niterói **Working Hours:** Monday to Thursday: 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM; Friday: 7:00 AM to 4:00 PM, with a 1-hour break. **Additional Information:** Proactive; Team-oriented; Willingness to learn; Good interpersonal skills; Resident of Niterói, São Gonçalo, Maricá, or neighboring cities.
