Asset Agents are responsible for verifying the physical presence of assets under their responsibility—that is, confirming whether the assets are actually located at the designated site. · Confirm receipt of assets assigned to the department. · Use the Internal Transfer Form in the following cases: . Physical relocation of assets to other departments. . Asset maintenance—temporary use until the asset’s return—both within and outside the institution. Include departure date and estimated return date. . Loan of an asset to another department—temporary use until the asset’s return. · Maintain an up-to-date list of assets under custody, including complete identification details. · Notify the Asset Management Department if any asset lacks its required identification label. · Notify the Asset Management Department if any asset is destroyed, damaged, or lost.
