Installation and configuration of software, printers, and peripherals About the Opportunity **IT SUPPORT TECHNICIAN I (Fixed Vacation Coverage)** Work schedule: Monday to Friday, from 12:00 PM to 6:00 PM (150 hours/month). Flexible availability is mandatory to work on other shifts, including regular business hours when required to cover Level 2 support **(function allowance and proportional benefits will be provided).** Work location address: Av. Presidente Vargas, No. 670, 13th Floor – Rio de Janeiro/RJ. Employment type: CLT, on-site — Fixed vacation coverage. **What We Are Looking For:** Education: * Completed Technical Course in Information Technology. * (For Level 2 roles, enrollment in a Bachelor’s degree program in Information Technology from the 3rd semester onward is also acceptable.) Experience: * Minimum of 6 months’ experience in hardware maintenance, and installation and configuration of office software and applications. * Prior experience in technical support and/or Help Desk is desirable. Knowledge and Certifications: * ITIL V3 Foundation (or higher) certification. * Microsoft Windows 7/10 and Microsoft Office environments. * Internet, Intranet, and email. * Remote support/telemarketing techniques (inbound and outbound). * Network configuration-level knowledge. * Installation, configuration, and consumables replacement for printers and scanners. * User backup procedures. * Experience in Windows local area network (LAN) environments. * Installation and configuration of VPN and Digital Certificates. * Experience with Windows servers (2008/2016\). **Core Responsibilities (Essential Duties/Tasks):** * Provide technical support to users in hardware and software across all SEFAZ-RJ buildings. * Perform corrective, evolutionary, and adaptive maintenance on IT equipment. * Provide logistical support, movement, and transportation of IT equipment. * Install, configure, and support software, printers, scanners, and peripherals. * Log and track technical service requests. * Ensure integrity, availability, and organization of the technical knowledge base.
