**Job Description:** The Inventory Assistant will be responsible for organizing, controlling, and handling goods, ensuring warehouse efficiency and the proper inflow and outflow of products. They will also assist in loading and unloading heavy materials such as cement, stone, sand, mortar, rebar, and other products within this segment. Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
* **Storage and Organization:**
* Organize products logically and efficiently in the warehouse to facilitate item location and quick access.
* Maintain a clean and safe storage environment, adhering to safety and hygiene standards.
* **Inventory Control:**
* Conduct periodic stock counts and adjust records as needed to reflect actual available quantities.
* Monitor stock levels and inform management when replenishment is required.
* **Collaboration and Communication:**
* Work closely with other teams—including procurement, sales, and logistics—to ensure efficient warehouse operations.
* Communicate\-clearly and effectively with colleagues and supervisors, contributing to a collaborative and productive work environment.
* **Order Fulfillment:**
* Prepare orders for shipment, ensuring correct items are selected, packed, and dispatched according to instructions.
* **Record Keeping:**
* Maintain detailed records of all inventory movements, including receipts, issues, and adjustments.
* Use inventory management systems to record and track daily activities.
* **Goods Receiving:**
* Verify the quantity and quality of received goods, ensuring compliance with purchase orders and specifications.
* Record incoming goods in the inventory management system, maintaining accurate and up-to-date records.
**Requirements:**
* Completed high school education.
* Prior experience in inventory or logistics-related roles is a plus.
* Basic computer skills, especially with inventory management systems.
* Ability to lift and move heavy objects as required.
* Strong attention to detail and exceptional organizational skills.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
