ECDD is part of Instituto Infnet, a college with 30 years of history, increasingly recognized by the industry. * Join Instituto Infnet—Rio de Janeiro’s most hands-on technology college—as an instructor, teaching morning, afternoon, and evening classes. * Teach through **practical projects** aligned with **market-demanded competencies**, in our undergraduate program in Game Design and Digital Games. * Deliver classes either in-person at Rio de Janeiro’s downtown campus or remotely. * Career development plan offering hourly compensation ranging from BRL 52.31 to BRL 124.78 per classroom hour, plus **paid weekly rest (1/6 of total earnings)**, **annual leave**, **13th-month salary**, **seniority bonus**, **FGTS**, **INSS**, **education scholarship**, and other benefits. * Depending on the candidate’s profile, this opportunity may extend to postgraduate teaching. **Responsibilities and Duties** * Deliver remote and/or in-person classes; mentor students by answering questions and providing feedback on assignments, with emphasis on project-based learning. **Requirements and Qualifications** **Mandatory Requirements:** * In-depth knowledge of Game Design * Practical experience with game engines (Unity/Unreal) * Brazilian-recognized or revalidated postgraduate specialization (Lato Sensu) or academic master’s/doctorate (Stricto Sensu) **Desirable Requirements:** * Master’s or doctoral degree * Professional experience applying the above competencies in top-tier projects and companies * Teaching experience or related activities such as lectures, webinars, internal training, etc. **Additional Information** ATTENTION: PRIOR EXPERIENCE AS A HIGHER EDUCATION INSTRUCTOR IS **NOT REQUIRED**. The institution believes in and supports the development of new instructors, provided they possess substantial professional experience in the field, strong communication skills, and teaching aptitude. **We expect the instructor to:** * Believe in project-based learning * Be willing to learn and apply the institution’s competency-based teaching methodology * Possess strong verbal communication skills * Be available to fulfill core teaching responsibilities—including assignment grading, student support, and lesson preparation * For this position, be available to teach evening classes remotely **Compensation and Employment Terms**: * CLT employment regime; initial hourly compensation ranging from BRL 52.31 to BRL 124.78 per classroom hour—based on modality, academic credentials, and experience—plus various allowances * Career progression up to BRL 124.78 per classroom hour, including a 5% enhancement for master’s degree holders and 10% for doctoral degree holders * Paid weekly rest (i.e., additional 1/6 on top of the amounts stated above) * Paid collective annual leave (30 days), 13th-month salary, FGTS, INSS, and optional transportation voucher * Education assistance scholarship for the instructor and dependents, based on total weekly teaching hours * Seniority bonus after three years of service **** ----- ECDD is a college with nearly 20 years of experience training professionals for the creative industry.
