Job Summary: The professional will collect and analyze water and effluent samples, support laboratory and field activities, and ensure the proper maintenance of equipment and materials. Aligned with our DNA, we aim to foster a sustainable, developmental, and safe work environment. **Barra Wastewater Treatment Plant (ETE Barra):** Avenida Ayrton Senna 1791 \- Barra da Tijuca \- RJ **Responsibilities and Duties** * Collect treated water samples and analyze designated parameters according to instructions from the immediate supervisor; * Collect raw water and effluent samples following established standards and forward them for laboratory analysis; * Perform laboratory tasks per received instructions, supporting services including: washing, preparing, disinfecting, and sterilizing materials used for sampling and in laboratories; maintaining the laboratory area, washing area, storage room, and physical\-chemical and bacteriological sample reception area clean and aseptic; * Receive, inspect, register, and distribute collected samples to respective departments; * Perform, as instructed and when necessary, tasks for which the candidate is qualified, aiming to meet company needs, emergency situations, and/or professional development; * Comply with scheduled cleaning/disinfection and preventive/corrective maintenance of laboratory, field, and transportation vehicle equipment; * Enter laboratory-generated data into specific spreadsheets; * Ensure maintenance, cleaning, asepsis, conservation, and proper use of laboratory and field materials, instruments, and equipment; * Drive company vehicles to perform fieldwork, ensuring compliance with traffic safety regulations and established norms. * Adhere to sustainability standards (safety, hygiene, quality, environmental preservation, health, and the 5S methodology). **Requirements and Qualifications** * Completed High School education; * Valid and definitive Class B driver's license (CNH B); * Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite. * Preferred: Currently enrolled in a Technical Course in Chemistry or Environmental Studies; At Iguá Saneamento, we value diversity in all contexts and strive to foster an ethical and inclusive culture at all times.
