Focus on teaching quality and integration with the market Description: * Bachelor's degree in Accounting Sciences; academic qualifications appropriate for the role (specialization, master's, or doctoral degree will be considered advantageous, per institutional policy); * Professional experience in the accounting field (industry, consulting, accounting firms, corporations) and/or academic experience in higher education, with practical involvement in accounting program management or teaching; * Leadership skills, clear communication (verbal and written), organizational ability, planning capability, people management, and mediation skills to coordinate faculty, students, and administrative routines; * Strategic vision, proactivity, commitment to teaching quality and continuous professional development (both pedagogical and subject-specific in accounting), in response to market changes and evolving accounting legislation; * Willingness to work on-site, with flexible working hours as required by the program; * Institutional liaison profile desirable: ability to establish partnerships, promote internships, or foster integration opportunities between academia and industry. 1 \- Academic Planning and Management: * Develop and coordinate the program’s curriculum planning (curriculum matrix, contact hours, syllabi, bibliographies, teaching materials), ensuring alignment with Ministry of Education (MEC) regulations and specific requirements for Accounting Sciences programs. * Organize class schedules, cohorts, distribution of disciplines/internships, and manage course offerings according to demand and institutional structure. 2\- Faculty Management and Supervision: * Coordinate faculty and technical\-administrative staff, supporting didactic\-pedagogical organization and promoting ongoing training, pedagogical updates, or professional development relevant to the accounting field. * Facilitate coordination among faculty to ensure interdisciplinary coherence and teaching quality. 3 \- Student Support and Guidance: * Provide academic and career guidance to students, including performance monitoring, assistance with academic queries, internship referrals, supervision of Final Course Projects (TCC), or other practical activities. * Serve as a communication channel among students, faculty, and administration, ensuring support for academic or administrative needs. 4 \- Administrative and Regulatory Management: * Maintain organized academic documentation for the program: enrollment records, attendance logs, academic transcripts, pedagogical reports, internal procedures, etc. * Ensure compliance with institutional and regulatory standards applicable to undergraduate Accounting programs, safeguarding program integrity and official recognition. 5 \- Program Evaluation and Continuous Improvement: * Periodically assess teaching quality, student and faculty performance, internship effectiveness, and industry integration, proposing improvements, pedagogical innovations, curriculum adjustments, and extension or research initiatives. * Represent the program before institutional bodies (councils, collegiate committees, regulatory authorities) and ensure the pedagogical project remains up-to-date and compliant. 2512040202181901034
