This is fundamental to our core company values and vital to our success. **What you’ll do** * Install, test, modify, organize, route, terminate, and certify UTP, fiber optic, and coaxial cabling in horizontal and vertical infrastructure, as well as between racks at patch panels; * Physically install servers, routers, and switches into racks, along with all logical cabling trays, rack shelves, and racks; * Conduct testing and incident resolution jointly with telecommunications carriers and customers across diverse business sectors (T1, DS3, OC3\-48, Eth, GigE, 10Gig); * Perform troubleshooting on switches, multiplexers, circuits in media converters, monitor ticket queues, and escalate tickets to the Networking Group as needed, while providing status updates to customers; * Install circuits requiring advanced fiber optic termination; * Verify switch and router configurations during initial response; * Greet visitors and customers and escort them to the location specified in the service request; * Register and manage colocation equipment; * Perform disaster recovery on servers, routers, and switches; * Ensure compliance with data center rules. **What you’ll need** * Completed technical education; * Prior experience in data centers or mission-critical environments; * Availability to work rotating shifts from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m., including 12-hour on-call shifts following this schedule: three days on, two days off, two days on, three days off. **What would be a plus** * Advanced English proficiency * Prior experience in data center operations, networking environments, or server environments Equinix is committed to ensuring that our employment process is open to all individuals, including those with a disability.
