Job Summary: We are seeking a Temporary Seamstress to perform repairs, adjustments, and production of garments, assist in linen room organization, and operate sewing machines. Key Highlights: 1. Apply creativity in the reuse of textile materials **At the Fairmont Rio de Janeiro Copacabana, our mission goes beyond hospitality—we believe every interaction is an opportunity to make the extraordinary happen.** We are looking for a **TEMPORARY SEAMSTRESS** to join our team! **Key Responsibilities:** Activities * Perform repairs, adjustments, and production of items (uniforms, bed linens, table linens, and bath linens), ensuring item preservation and extended service life. * Perform general sewing services (hems, bias binding, towel adjustments, curtain alterations, quilt modifications, and baby linens). * Support Governance and Laundry in operational requests as needed. * Assist in linen room organization, including uniform inventory control, identification, and adjustments. * Conduct fittings and adjustments of uniforms for new employees. * Operate domestic and industrial sewing machines, maintaining equipment in good condition. * Produce items as required by operations (napkins, underlays, etc.). * Ensure material supply, requesting replenishments when necessary. * Answer telephone calls and provide administrative support when required. * Apply creativity in the reuse of textile materials. Requirements and Qualifications * Experience in sewing, preferably in hospitality, laundry, or garment production. * Knowledge of adjustments, repairs, and production of items (hems, bias binding, general alterations). * Proficiency in operating domestic and industrial sewing machines. * Organizational skills and attention to detail. * Proactivity and ability to handle multiple operational tasks. * Ability to work effectively in a team environment. * Completed elementary or high school education.1\.
