Job Summary: We are seeking a Data Scientist professional to serve as a strategic partner to the Executive Director in advancing the company’s data and AI ecosystem, transforming data into applied intelligence. Lead the structuring of evidence-based decision-making with a systemic perspective. We are looking for a Data Scientist to act as a strategic partner to the Executive Director in evolving, sustaining, and scaling the company’s data and AI ecosystem—ensuring developed solutions deliver real competitive advantage, operational scalability, and direct business impact. The role entails transforming data into applied intelligence, evolving proprietary AI models, and structuring evidence-based decisions with high technical rigor and a systemic perspective. **Key Responsibilities:** **Strategy & Business** * Translate the company’s strategic objectives into analytical solutions and predictive models. * Serve as the Executive Director’s technical arm in data-driven decision-making. * Identify opportunities for monetization and optimization through data and AI. * Design metrics and key performance indicators (KPIs) that drive growth and efficiency. **Modeling & AI** * Develop, train, validate, and monitor Machine Learning and AI models. * Evolve the company’s proprietary AI, ensuring robustness, performance, and scalability. * Implement production-grade data and model pipelines (MLOps). * Work with structured and unstructured data. * Evaluate new AI technologies and frameworks applicable to the business. **Architecture & Governance** * Structure and optimize data pipelines (ETL/ELT). * Ensure data quality, integrity, and security. * Collaborate with technology teams to maintain a scalable architecture. * Create clear, reproducible technical documentation. **Performance & Optimization** * Monitor model performance and propose continuous improvements. * Conduct A/B tests and experiments. * Generate predictive and prescriptive analytics. * Reduce operational costs through intelligent automation. **Technical Requirements** * Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Statistics, Engineering, Mathematics, Computer Science, or related fields. * Advanced proficiency in Python (pandas, numpy, scikit-learn, etc.). * Experience with Machine Learning and Deep Learning frameworks. * Experience with LLMs and generative AI applications (a strong plus). * Proficiency in SQL and manipulation of large datasets. * Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure). * Experience with MLOps and model versioning. * Experience with data visualization tools (Power BI, Tableau, or similar). * Ability to design models from scratch and deploy them into production. **Behavioral Competencies** * Strategic thinking and systemic perspective. * Ability to discuss technology at both deep technical and executive levels. * Extreme autonomy and ownership mindset. * Ability to challenge decisions based on technical reasoning. * Continuous improvement mindset. * Strong intellectual curiosity. * Clear communication skills. * High tolerance for dynamic, fast-growing environments. **Preferred Qualifications** * Prior experience building proprietary AI. * Experience in startups or rapidly scaling companies. * Product background. * Experience automating internal processes via AI. * Ability to lead or structure a future data team.
