Job Summary: A professional responsible for performing openings, anchoring, closing, and finishing tasks on construction sites, collaborating with other technical teams and maintaining an organized and safe working environment. Responsibilities and Duties Your daily tasks on site will include: Opening of openings and grooves: Performing precise cuts in masonry and screed for the passage of pipes, conduits, and air-conditioning drains. Anchoring: Fixing light boxes, distribution panels, hydraulic piping, and junction boxes, ensuring correct plumb and alignment. Closing and Finishing: Sealing opened openings after installation approval, applying scratch coat, brown coat, and plaster with excellent quality standards to receive final finishes. Technical Support: Working side-by-side with electricians, plumbers, and installers, preparing the environment so they can perform their services efficiently. Organization and Safety: Keeping the workplace clean and organized, properly disposing of construction debris, and ensuring correct use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE). Requirements and Qualifications What we expect from you: Proven work experience (or solid references) as a Mason, preferably on residential construction projects. Proficiency in using tools such as rotary hammers, sanders, marble saws (angle grinders), levels, and plumb bobs. Practical knowledge of preparing mortars and plasters. Ability to collaborate effectively and agilely within a team. Commitment to deadlines and to the quality of executed work. The following will be considered a strong advantage: Ability to read and interpret basic installation plans and drawings. Qualification courses in civil construction (SENAI or similar institutions).
