**About the position** ------------------- Temporary position to cover maternity leave, working with a large multinational corporation. We are seeking a consultative professional with a strong cross-functional and integrative profile to support multiple corporate areas in aligning with organizational, regulatory, legal, and governance guidelines. This professional will perform strategic, preventive, and consultative duties, contributing to sound business decision-making and mitigating legal, regulatory, and reputational risks within a complex and highly regulated corporate environment. **Key responsibilities** -------------------------------- * Serve as strategic legal counsel for various corporate areas (HR, Compliance, Internal Audit, Procurement, Finance, Operations, among others), with an integrated business perspective * Support internal activities’ alignment with organizational guidelines, corporate policies, Code of Conduct, and applicable regulatory requirements * Analyze and provide legal guidance on topics related to corporate governance, compliance, ethics, internal controls, and risk management * Draft, review, and validate legal opinions, technical notes, and formal communications for internal stakeholders * Collaborate with global and regional teams, ensuring adherence to corporate legal guidelines * Support cross-functional corporate projects by assessing legal impacts and proposing legally sound and viable solutions for the business * Proactively identify legal and regulatory risks and support mitigation actions * Maintain close coordination with Compliance, Internal Audit, and Global Legal, as needed **Responsibilities and qualifications*** Bachelor’s degree in Law, with active bar association registration (OAB). * Solid experience as a Senior Legal Consultant or equivalent role in a corporate environment. * Experience in complex and matrix organizational environments, with cross-departmental involvement. * Knowledge of corporate governance, compliance, internal policies, and regulations applicable to the business context. * Ability to translate complex legal topics into practical guidance for non-legal departments. * Excellent written and verbal communication skills. * Intermediate or advanced English (an advantage for interaction with global teams).
