Job Summary: Lead vehicle movement in the yard, oversee truck dispatch to docks, lead teams, and manage operational deviations. Key Highlights: 1. Leadership in vehicle and team movement 2. Focus on operational discipline and safety ***Your typical day*** * Lead vehicle movement in the yard, ensuring fluidity, adherence to time windows, and alignment with the operational plan. * Monitor truck dispatch to docks according to network priorities, preventing bottlenecks and preserving cut-offs. * Lead the inspection team by assigning tasks, monitoring performance, and ensuring adequate shift coverage. * Respond promptly to operational deviations such as delays, vehicle swaps, and priority changes. * Maintain continuous coordination with line-haul, warehouse, gatehouse, control tower, and carrier teams for routine alignment. * Ensure compliance with safety standards, including proper use of PPE, respect for pedestrian routes, and correct application of signage and control devices. * Monitor dock occupancy, dwell time, and queue formation, initiating replanning when necessary. * Record and report relevant operational incidents. * Uphold operational discipline and contribute to operational predictability and stability. * Ensure up-to-date information in cargo loading/unloading control reports. * Conduct daily briefings at the start of each shift and perform Yard Safety Walks. * Regularly manage and review attendance reports, identifying inconsistencies. ***What you need to take on this challenge*** *Education* * Technical or undergraduate degree completed or in progress in Logistics, Administration, Engineering, International Trade, or related fields. ***Experience*** * Understanding of service-level indicators (KPIs). * Experience in distribution center (DC), logistics hub, or similar operations is preferred. * Experience leading operational processes and managing internal and external stakeholders.
